Well, yeah. But this cartoon speaks to every time a TV cultural program makes one want to scream because the anthropologist on screen is as thick as two short planks and doesn’t understand anything , much less people.

Or worse, = Captain Obvious= doesn’t understand that their Magical Learned Expert Powers are not actually Secret Bonus Knowledge but includes things people already know or can pick up in seconds, observation being a thing.

Hah! None of those this weekend. I have to figure out what my wife did to my car first. She says something is dragging underneath it. Then I have to set traps and seal the hole the mice used to get into the garage. Then there’s the final (hopefully) mowing of the lawn. I also need to spend some quality time with the kids and my wife. T ha t should be enough, but I’m sure there will be something else to do.

Combine all tasks: Run car all over lawn to scrape it flat before you fix whatever’s dragging, then leave the car running in the garage to gas out any mice, while spending quality time with kids and wife, then rip off whatever’s dragging and block the hole with it.
